Google My Map - Poutini and Waitaiki
The class made a My Map to show the journey of Poutini and Waitaiki. We used places that the children recognised as landmarks to engage them in the journey. We used Google Earth to explore each place.
Kia ora Rūma Whio tamariki. This looks like some awesome learning. Have any of you walked up mount Tuhua? I have, and it was a long way up! I really like thinking about Poutini and Waitaiki while I am in that area. Wondering how Waitaiki felt about being carried so far from her home, Tuhua.
